I left your ashes with Monet…

“Gone But Not Forgotten”

I

“Gone But Not Forgotten”

I sit here and remember you.

I curl up and feel you.

I feel your covering of my soul; you gave me so much protection.

I remember you.

You left so quickly, I would have held you longer as I sat and laughed with you… fell asleep with you.

I cleaned our chair in hopes that I would miss you less, but it still smells like it remembers you.

We kissed in this chair, you held me in this chair, we cried in this chair.

In this chair I still remember you. JG
